GORDON ANDREW VANHOY SR. age 85 of Crossville, TN passed away February 10, 2019. He was born march 1, 1933 in Cumberland County, TN the son of Andrew and Eva Barnwell Vanhoy. He served our country in the United States Air Force and retired as an E-6 Tech Sergeant. After his military retirement he also worked 20 years as an officer with the Fairfield Glade Police Dept. He was a member of First Christian Church and former member of the Masonic Lodge #483.

He is survived by his wife Ernestina Vanhoy of Crossville, TN, son- Gordon A. Vanhoy II and his wife Kara, daughters- Christine Vanhoy Dalton and her husband Eliott of Crossville, TN and Pat Vanhoy Walker of Smithville, TN, grandchildren- Gordon A. Vanhoy III, Hope Ernestina Stafford and Ashley Nicole Morgan and great grandchildren- Parker Wayne Morgan, Katelin Grace Stafford and Dawson Jacob Stafford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother- Robert Vanhoy and sister- Willie Mae Duncan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 13, 2019 at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crossville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1pm-3pm at the funeral home.
