GLADYS L. KIDWELL age92 of Orlando, FL formerly of Crossville, TN passed away March 27, 2018. She was born May 1, 1925 in Putnam County, TN the daughter of Alton C. and Flora D Pharris Fox. She was raised in the Homesteads in Cumberland County as both sides of her family were original homesteaders. She was a graduate of Homestead High School. Her father, Alton Fox served as Sherriff of Cumberland County for several years. She later moved to Detroit, MI where she retired from Uniroyal Tires as an Administrative Assistant. After retirement and moving back to Crossville, she was a member of Homestead Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter- Linda Super of Apopka, FL, brother- Roy Fox of Cookeville, TN, grandchildren- John Super and his spouse Darrell of Orlando, FL and Robin Tenpenny and her spouse Chris of Nashville, TN and great grandchildren- Amy Tenpenny-Clack and her husband Nick and Lisa Tenpenny.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Luther "Boyd" Kidwell, infant daughter- Janet Kay Kidwell and brother- A.C. Fox.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 31, 2018 at 10am with visitation to be from 9-10am prior to the service at Hood Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday March 30, 2018 at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
