GERALD DEAN DECK SR. age 77 of Crossville, TN passed away May 5, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born May 4, 1944 in Crossville, TN the son of Charlie and Hazel Brown Deck. He worked many years as a carpenter and brick layer and was also a United States Army Veteran, 101 ^st Airborne, having served our country during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife of over 53 years- Ann Deck of Crossville, TN, son- Gerald Deck Jr. and his wife Allison also of Crossville, TN, brother- Ricky Deck and his wife Penny of Crossville, TN, sisters- Sara Lane, Mary Jane Buck and her husband Robbie all of Crossville, TN  and Pearl Campbell all of Portland, TN, sister-in-law- Betty Deck of Crossville, TN, granddaughter- Jackie Kramer and her husband Jeremy of Kingsport, TN, great granddaughters- Olivia and Lyla Kramer, many nieces and nephews, his buddies that he's had throughout the years and all his Army brothers who have stayed with him until his death.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers- Granville, Kyle, Claude, M.L. and Melvin Deck and sisters- Wanda Deck and Polly Farmer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 8, 2021 at 2pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family receive friends on Saturday from 12:00noon-2pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
