GARY W. SMIDDIE age 70 of Crossville, TN passed away September 25, 2023. He was born February 6, 1953 in Cookeville, TN the son of John and Bonnie Shelton Smiddie. He was retired after many years as a project manager from AT&T. He loved playing golf and enjoyed working around his home and property.

He is survived by his wife- Debbie Henry of Crossville, TN, son- Shane DeLynn Smiddie and his wife Susan Marie of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Alyssa Ann Smiddie Barnett and ( Sydney) and William Robert Ryan Smiddie, sister- Pat Whittenburg of Crossville, TN, brother- Raymond Smiddie of Crossville, TN and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and a large spiritual family as well.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday October 14, 2023 at 4pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3pm-4pm one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family has respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cumberland County or Caris Hospice.
