ELMER DENNIS HARRIS age 86 of Grandview, TN passed away April 22, 2021. He was born June 6, 1934 in Crossville, TN the son of Whitley and Bertha Thompson Harris. He was retired after many years from General Motors. He was a kind and caring person who never met a stranger. He loved to talk with people, and they loved talking with him.

He is survived by his sons- Darrell Harris of Grandview, TN and Michael Harris of Albuquerque, NM, daughters- Denise Matlock and her husband Gerald of Fairfield Glade, TN, Rhonda Adams of Crossville, TN and Georgia Kinzel and her husband Paul of Amherst, OH, grandchildren- Steve, Carrie, Kelly, Shawna, Christel, Teresa, Ryan, Meghan and Kassia and great grandchildren- Jack and Emmy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Harris and brother- Edgar Allen Harris.

Funeral services will be held Thursday April 29, 2021 at 2pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1pm-2pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery.
