EDWARD W. PALMER JR. age 79 of Crossville, TN passed away March 30, 2024. He was born March 26, 1945 in Glen Falls, NY the son of Edward W. Sr. and Shirley I. Rowe Palmer. He was a United States Navy veteran having served three tours in Vietnam. He retired after 21 years proudly serving our country as a Chief Petty Officer. He and his wife Mary Rita were married for more than sixty years and were members of Vine and Branches Fellowship Church in Dayton, TN.

He is survived by his wife- Mary Rita Palmer of Crossville, TN, daughters- Kimberly Ann Lynch and her husband Scott of Crossville, TN and Sheri Lynn Souders and her husband Tony of Sanford, SC, son - David Edward Palmer of Inwood, WV, brother- Kenneth David Palmer of New York, sister- Tosca Wilson and her husband Demetrius of Georgia, grandchildren- Zach Rhodes, Natanya Slone, Mark E. Perez, Micah Bussard, Josiah Bussard, Rita Palmer and Cadence Palmer and great grandchildren- Arianna, Owen, Camille, Octavia and Ophelia.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ida Rowe Harrington, his father Edward W. Palmer Sr., his brother Robert Palmer, his nephew Kenneth Palmer Jr. and one granddaughter Tiffany Palmer.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 6, 2024 at 11:00am at Vine and Branches Fellowship Church in Dayton, TN.
