EDITH HAYES age 79 of Crab Orchard, TN passed away September 12, 2019. She was born February 28, 1940 in Crab Orchard, TN the daughter of Kenneth Sr. and Ellen Strader Mackie. She worked many years as a CNA at Cumberland Medical Center and several of the local nursing homes.

She is survived by her sons- Micheal Wayne of Crab Orchard, TN and Jimmy Mackie of Crossville, TN, daughters- Betty Morris and her husband Marty of Crab Orchard, TN, Debra Morris of Crossville, TN and Racheal Hansen of Crab Orchard, TN, sisters- Patsy Barnwell and her husband Sam of Crab Orchard, TN and Brenda Lee of Ozone, TN, grandchildren- Marlena Mackie, Katie Mackie, Michele Rodgers, James Charles Norris, Brandi Miller, Kelsy Flores, Bryant Regen, Jessica Gilstrap, Donivan Webster, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Luther Hayes, brothers- Tommy Burgess and Kenneth Mackie Jr. and sisters- Diane Godsey and Tennie Dannel.

Funeral services will be held Sunday September 15, 2019 at 2pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12pm-2pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery.
