WILLIAM E. "EDD" WEBB age 94 of Crossville, TN passed away March 30, 2019. He was born April 24, 1924 in Crossville, TN the son of Frank. and Martha J. Hedgecoth Webb. He worked many years as a carpenter and farmer. He was also a United States Army veteran having served during WWII. During his military service, he was part of the Battle of the Bulge. He was very proud of his service and enjoyed sharing many interesting and humorous stories about his adventures. He had a tremendous love for bluegrass and was a member for many years of the well known local bluegrass group, "The Lantana Drifters". He was famous for his own rendition of a train whistle and his talent for buck dancing. He was a huge UT Vol fan and enjoyed watching them play ball. His love for music and sports was something he and his late wife Audine shared together for many years.

He is survived by his daughters- Patricia Selby and her husband James of Crossville, TN and Arlene McCulley and her husband Harry also of Crossville, TN, brother- Milo Webb of Crossville, sisters- Lola Anderson of Ohio and Shelba Kennedy of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren- Regina Selby, Renae Baskette and Heath Scarbrough and great grandchildren- Emily Baskette, Erin Baskette and Drake Scarbrough.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife-Audine, son- Dallas Webb, brothers- Roy, Litton and Ray Webb and sisters- Ethel Wright and Pearl Hassler.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 2, 2019 at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1pm-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lantana Cemetery. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Cumberland House Hospice.
