DOUGLAS L. LINDELL age 65 of Crossville, TN passed away December 8, 2020. He was born April 20, 1955 in Orlando, FL the son of Lyall and Marilyn Rybeck Lindell. He was retired from the Orlando Fire Dept. and after moving to Crossville he worked as a 911 dispatcher for 10 years before his retirement from Cumberland County.

He is survived by his wife- Ruthie Sinard Lindell of Crossville, TN, daughter- Lauren Dykes and her husband Scott of Sanford, FL, stepdaughter- Kristy Ott and her husband Clarence of Crossville, TN, sister- Rae Kelly and her husband Mike of Tallahassee, FL, grandchildren- Chase Dykes, Maggie Dykes, Ella Dykes, Jay Ott, Trevor Sinard, Asher Sinard, Adeline Sinard and Anna Marie Sinard Ott, niece- Shannon West and her husband Clark of Crossville, TN and nephew- Ryan Lindell and his wife Celeste of Texas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson- Travis Sinard and sister- Charlene Libby.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Friday December 11, 2020 at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2pm-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home. The family has respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Avalon Center, 196 10 ^th St., Crossville, TN 38555.
