DOROTHEA BREWSTER age 72 of Crossville, TN passed away March 21, 2019. She was born March 24, 1946 in Queens, NY. She received her MA from Adelphi University and a Masters in Nursing Administration from NYU. Before her marriage to Harry, she was a Eucharistic minister at Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Valley Stream, NY. She retired from the medical field as Director of Nursing at North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in Manhasset, NY and was also a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband- Harry Brewster of Crossville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday April 1, 2019 at 10:00am at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in East TN State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, TN.
