Doreen Banks, 94, passed into peace on August 24, 2022 at the age of 94, in Crossville Tennessee.
Doreen was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin and is survived by her sister Joyce Fletcher,
daughters Carole Seely (Ed) and Linda Banks, grandchildren Matthew Malcolm (April) and Lucy Cruppi
(Rob), and great-grandchildren Conor LaBarr and Mia Malcolm. Born in Manchester, England, Doreen
worked as a legal secretary for then Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, and later for a firm in Rochester,
New York. Doreen was loving to her family and a sociable friend. In retirement, she enjoyed golfing and
playing cribbage with her husband Ben, playing mahjong with friends, group exercise, gardening, and
was very well-read. Her family and friends will remember Doreen for her humble nature and good
humor. Private family services were held, and Doreen's ashes were spread with Ben's.
