DONNA C. YATES age 74 of Crossville, TN passed away October 18, 2025. She was born February 26, 1951 in Crossville, TN the daughter of Carl C. and Mabel M. Sherrill Cook. She worked many years as a business clerk for Avery Dennison and later at Flowers Baking Company. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her former husband- James Yates of Crossville, TN, daughter- Leah Winstead and her husband Daniel of Crossville, TN, brother- JC Cook of Crossville, TN, sister- Ann McCullough of Mt. Juliet, TN, grandchildren- Katarina Kiley, James Miley, Starr Winstead and Haley Begley, great grandchildren- Eben, Zoey, Jessica, Zachery, Emmett, Kaison and Heather and step grandchildren- Alicia and CJ. She also leaves her very special friend and care giver- Kim Kirby of Crossville, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Lynn Cook.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 4pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3pm -4pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
