DOLLIE MARIE FARMER age 85 of Crossville, TN passed away May 24, 2018. She was born April 16, 1933 in Cumberland County, TN. She worked many years at Avery Dennison and was also a member of First Christian Church. She loved UT football and playing bingo. Her most special times were the yearly trips to Memphis with her family as she was affectionately given the middle name of "Go".

She is survived by her son- Joe D. Farmer II and his wife Kathy of Crossville, TN, daughters- Debbie Neely and her husband Dean of Crossville, TN, Patty Baildon of Harriman, TN and Michelle Smith and her husband Billy of Crossville, TN, brother- Ricky Myers of Crossville, TN, sister- Vickie Cox of Crossville, TN, fifteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. She also leaves a special friend- Luci Bailey and her beloved pet Lexi.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather- Elizabeth and Callie Myers, husband Joe D. Farmer Sr., daughter- Kimberly Wyatt and grandson- Kevin Farmer.

The family has expressed a most loving and heartfelt appreciation for Dr. Robert Nichols who was always more than her physician, he was a dear friend.

Funeral services will be held Sunday May 27, 2018 at 2pm from the Chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday May 26, 2018 from 6-8pm at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crab Orchard Christian Church.
