DARLENE EVA GAYNOR age 60 of Crossville, TN passed away August 10, 2021. She was born September 1, 1960, in Crossville, TN, the daughter of Daniel and Helen Godsey Tuttle. She worked many years at Crab Orchard Elementary School where she was inspiration to many children and adults. She attended Chestnut Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was also an aspiring and published author, something she was quite proud of. Most of all, she will be remembered for the wonderful, kind and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend that she was. She touched so many lives in so many ways during her time here on earth.

She is survived by her daughters- Ruby Gaynor of Crossville, TN and Audrey Roberts and her husband Matt of Nashville, TN, mother- Helen Tuttle of Crossville, TN, brother- Daniel "Junior" Tuttle and his wife Stacy of Crossville, TN and grandchildren- Ayva, Adyson and Alyson Gaynor, Eleanor, Opal and Louis Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Tuttle.

Funeral services will be held Saturday August 14, 2021, at 10am at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday August 13, 2021, from 5pm-7pm at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery in Crab Orchard, TN.
