It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Jerome Long, 37, of Crossville , Tennessee.  Daniel left the struggles of this life on April 5, 2025. Beloved father, son, brother, grandson and uncle.

The family will receive visitors from Noon to 2:00 on Saturday April 12 th a t Hood Funeral Home in Crossville.  A private graveside burial service will follow.

Daniel was born in Memphis , TN , graduated from Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, GA and attended Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, OK.  He used his God-given creative abilities to foster a career in Software Architecture.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jerome Dorsey Prince.

Daniel is survived by his daughter Daisy and her loving mother Laura Long; parents Greg and Debbie; brother David (Sarah); nephews Jacob, Lucas; niece Lily anne; grandparents Bonnie Prince, Dr. Charles and Rosemary Long.
