DANIEL J. KINGTON age 76 of Crossville, TN passed away April 7, 2023. He was born September 10, 1946, in Chattanooga, TN the son of Lorin and Marjorie Baker Kington. He was retired after many years as a chemical engineer at Oak Ridge Y-12 facility. He was also a United States Army veteran having served our country during Vietnam. He and his wife Sharon were members of Crossville First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sharon Kington of Crossville, TN, children- Adam Kington (Patty) of Crossville, TN, Amanda Apperson (Robert) of Knoxville, TN, Joseph Kington (Debbie) also of Knoxville, Amy Kington (Jeff) of Knoxville and Jennifer Seel and Jeremy Seel both of Athens, OH and grandchildren- Zoey Taylor, Peyton Seel and Cienna Seel.

He was preceded in death by his mother- Marjorie Kington, father and stepmother- Lorin and Frances Kington and sister- Marla Neal.

Memorial services will be held Thursday April 13, 2023, at 2:00pm Crossville First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm prior to the service at the church.
