Obituary

Conway LIndsey Tabor passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Conway was born on April 18, 1979, in Crossville, Tennessee. He was a graduate of Cumberland County High School and after many years of hard work, he obtained his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Conway loved to teach others, and he was thrilled to be hired as a math teacher at Cumberland County High School for the 2021-2022 school year. The most important thing in this world for Conway was his family. He was a devoted husband and father who wanted to spend every minute of every day with his family. Fishing was Conway's favorite hobby. He would spend hours, especially in the summer, fishing with his wife and children. It was very important to him to have hobbies in his life he could teach his children so they all could be together enjoying the life God had given them. Conway developed a love for football at a young age. Life long friendships developed from his experience as a high school football player. Attending Tennessee Titans football games became a favorite event for Conway, and his time attending the games was even more enjoyable when his wife and children attended games with him. Over the years, Conway has touched many lives. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jackie (Inman) Tabor, sons, Caleb (14) and Corben (11), daughter, Cora (6), his mother, three sisters, two brothers, and a huge extended family he gained through his marriage to Jackie. Conway Lindsey Tabor was laid to rest with a graveside service on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Crossville City Cemetery. A message for family and friends was given by Pastor Hank Jones. Funeral Arrangements were provided by Hood Funeral Home, Crossville, Tennessee.
