Clifford Baldwin, age 74, of the Clear Creek community in Crossville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on August 29, 2026.

He was born on October 17, 1951, on the same property where he resided his entire life. He was the son of Coolidge Albert Baldwin and Chloe Keithel Cox.

Clifford was of the Christian faith, an avid outdoorsman and farmer, and a hardworking family man.

Clifford will be remembered for his love of hunting and fishing and for attending shooting matches, where he was known by all as “a mighty fine shot.” He will also be remembered for his involvement in the community, including driving a school bus for many students and sports teams in Cumberland County and volunteering as a bus driver for church youth trips for over 20 years.

Clifford is survived by his mother, Chloe Cox; his wife of 55 years, Brenda Kay Evans Baldwin; his son, Eric Baldwin and wife Alice; his daughter, Lori Michelle Buck; grandchildren Shawn Baldwin, Shaunda Baldwin, Joshua Buck and wife Brittany, and Brooklynn Buck; his sister, Debra Evans and husband Marcus; and a host of extended family who knew him as “Pa.”

He was preceded in death by his father, Coolidge Albert Baldwin, and his niece, Millie Ann Evans.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The family will receive friends at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville from 10:00 a.m. until noon. The funeral service will follow, with burial at Fredonia Cemetery. Bro. Bryan Findley and Bro. Chip Bond will officiate. Russell Ledbetter, Eric Baldwin, Shawn Baldwin, Joshua Buck, Marcus Evans and Trevor Mahaney will serve as pallbearers.
