CARL LEE WOODY age 73 of Spring City, TN passed away October 22, 2026. He was born April 17, 1953 in Dayton, TN the son of Leonard and Bertha Morris Woody. He was retired after many years as a truck driver. He loved to shoot pool and play softball but the greatest love in his life was his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his son- Kenny Woody, daughters- Carleena Kerley and her husband Byrd, Tracy Woody and Misty McClendon and her husband Travis all of Spring City, TN, grandchildren- Kristen Woody, Jazmine McClendon, Tyra McClendon, Emily Kerley, Chasity King, Jessica Hensel and Heather Watson, great grandchild- Nylah Woody and special step grandchildren- Christopher Capps, Kasie Tanksley and Laura Beth Capps.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife- Mary Woody, sister- Loretta Johnson and daughter-in-law- Jennifer Woody.

Funeral services will be held Saturday October 31, 2026 at 12noon EST at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am-12noon EST one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring City Cemetery.
