CARL J. COOPER SR. age 86 of Crossville, TN passed away October 26, 2018. He was born September 19, 1932 in Crawford, TN the son of Homer and Alpha Smith Cooper. He worked many years as a builder in Florida and was also a United States Army veteran having served during Korea. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a 3 ^rd degree Mason and a former Shriner.

He is survived by his son- Carl Cooper Jr. of Crossville, TN, brothers- Lee Cooper and Kenneth Cooper both of Crossville, TN, granddaughters- Becky Cooper Stone and her husband Brad of Crossville, TN and Crystal Cooper also of Crossville, TN and great grandchildren- Dustin and Hunter Pruitt, Bralyn Stone, Garron, Michael and Kayla Glover and Jayden Keagle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary, brothers- Clayton and Homer Jr. Cooper and sisters- Gladys Burgess and Jean Hiseman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 30, 2018 at 1pm from the Chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm on Tuesday at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
