BRENDA SUE McCOY WING, 72 of Crossville, TN, was born in Cumberland County, TN, September 5, 1949 to Mirtie H. and Helen Howard McCoy. She went to sleep peacefully with her family by her side on January 4, 2022. She was of the SDA faith.

Brenda was one of a kind. She was a beautiful mix of fieriness, quick wit, and selflessness. A talented singer, she loved to sing at reunions as her family played their self- taught instruments. With her beautiful voice, she was always asked to sing wherever she would go and especially enjoyed singing with her brother's band anytime she visited. Another talent of Brenda's was cooking. She was known for her famous banana pudding. She was an avid watcher of crime shows and brilliant at all trivia games, especially Jeopardy.

Brenda enjoyed people and especially loved her children and grandchildren. She was a strong woman who always stood up for the underdog. She would help anyone in any way she could. Her home was always open to all.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and three older siblings: Archie McCoy, Paul McCoy and Wanda McCoy Cox.

Brenda is survived by her daughter- Teresa (Marvin) Jenkins, son- Ritchie Smith, granddaughters- Bethany (David), Emily Jenkins and Raven Smith, grandson- Dalton Smith and great granddaughter- Chloe Spivey.
