Brandon Wayne Rains, age 32, was born July 3,
1991 to Renita Faye Rains(Iles) and Kent Ryan
Rains in Crossville, TN. He left this world on
November 12, 2023.
He attended Cumberland County High School
and graduated Class of 2009. He continued on to
serve our country in the Air Force for four years. He
then furthered his education at Middle Tennessee
State University and Chattanooga College where he
graduated Valedictorian of his class with a degree in
computer science.
Brandon was preceded in death by Kent Ryan
Rains(Father), and Nita Rains(Grandmother) both of
Jamestown, TN. Bobbie Lou Pugh(Great-
Grandmother) of Mayland, TN. Benjamin
Tabor(Grandfather) of Crossville, TN.
He is survived by Renita and Porter Iles(Mother
and Step-father), Michael Dean Cox (Father Figure), Kenley Rae
Rains(Daughter), Sister Nicole Smith(Bo), Brother
Todd Earhart(Laura), Pa Earl Pugh(Great-
Grandfather), Donna and Bob
Mitchell(Grandparents), Jeff and Becca
Collins(Uncle and Aunt), Benita and Damon
Koehl(Aunt and Uncle), Melanie (Boo) Garrett(Aunt),
Cousins Dustin Cox, Megan Terry, Keeli Edwards,
Adam Hearndon, Brianna Hearndon, Maisie Phillips.
Nieces and Nephews Grayson, Lillian, Parker, Angel,
Gabby.
Brandon was a blessing to be around and
brought joy and laughter to all those who crossed
his path. His family was more than just parents,
siblings, and cousins, they were all his best of
friends. Those who knew Brandon knew his passion
for the Atlanta Braves, love for the outdoors, and his
enjoyment of music. He will forever be missed by
his family who love him dearly. "Our hearts will
never be whole until we meet with him again in
heaven."
The family will receive friends at Hood Funeral
Home on Saturday, November 18 from 12 noon -
1:00 PM with services to follow. Burial will be at
Mayland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a
