ARTIS H. WINNINGHAM, age 95 of Crossville, TN passed away September 17, 2019. He was born June 28, 1924 in Monroe, TN the son of Samuel and Colva Allred Winningham. He was a United States Army veteran having served during WWII and was retired from the Cumberland County school system having taught in the classroom for many years before becoming Principal.

He is survived by his wife Gayle Winningham of Crossville, TN, sons- Ronald Winningham and his wife Pam of Crossville, TN, Randall Winningham and his wife Darlene of Crossville, TN and Bill Bruce and his wife Kim of Crossville, TN, daughters- Natalie Winningham of Charleston, TN and Bonnie Ashburn and her husband Terry of Crossville, TN, many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife- Beatrice Winningham and several brothers and a sister.

Memorial services will  be held Saturday September 21, 2019 at 4pm at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3pm-4pm at the church. The family has respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in his memory or the charity of your choice.
