ANN EBERT age 87 of Fairfield Glade, TN passed away on October 27, 2025 at Cumberland Medical Center. Ann was born on July 12, 1938 in Richfield, Idaho, the daughter of the late John William and Vearl Flavel Ebert.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Ebert Kilander. She is survived by one sister, Carol Gardner of Edwardsville, IL; one niece, Ginny Kilander Hopkins of Laramie, WY; and one nephew, Skot Kilander of Harrisburg, PA.

From age seven Ann grew up in Oak Ridge, TN. After graduating from Tennessee Tech she began her teaching career in Fort Knox, KY, then with Overseas Dependent Schools for several years. She eventually settled in Crossville where she taught at Homestead Elementary School and Cumberland County High School. Later she and her father purchased Cumberland General Store which she managed for eighteen years.

Ann was very creative and always found another craft to explore, from quilting to gourd design. She loved her miniature schnauzers and closely followed the UT men's and women's basketball teams.

Ann was also very involved and volunteered for many years at the Plateau Discovery Gardens at the UT Agriculture Center in Crossville where she was a member of the Master Gardeners.

Visitation will be held Thursday October 30, 2025 1pm-2pm with a graveside service to follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens.
