ALVIN LUTHER VAUGHN age 85 of Crossville, TN passed away October 16, 2018. He was born January 1, 1933 in Clarkrange, TN the son of Joe and Clem McCormick Vaughn. He was retired after many years as an office supervisor with the USDA and was also a United States Army veteran having served during Korea. He was a member and a deacon of First Baptist Church of Crossville.

He is survived by his wife Melba Vaughn of Crossville, TN, daughter- Cindy Underwood and her husband Mark of Crossville, TN, daughter-in-law- Dorothy Vaughn of Livingston, TN, brother- Edward H. Vaughn and his wife Pat of Cornelia, GA, sisters- Euretha Williams and her husband Billie and Ruth Thrasher all of Livingston, TN, grandchildren- Tyler Wilbanks and Keisha, Lance Wilbanks and Angie, Blake Vaughn and Christopher Vaughn and great grandchildren- Braxton Ray wilbanks, Kylah Reece Wilbanks, Jett Lance Wilbanks and Mamieka Jane Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son- Roger Vaughn, brothers- Harold Vaughn and Donald Vaughn and sister- Joanna Ferrill.

Funeral services will be held Saturday October 20, 2018 at 1pm at First Baptist Church of Crossville. The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
