I am honored to have served the families of Cumberland and surrounding counties for more than 35 years. After I graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1973, I continued my education at Kentucky School of Mortuary Science in 1976 when I received my degree.
I began my career at Bilbrey Funeral Home, which is where I remained until September of 2001 when having the opportunity to purchase the former Burris Funeral Home, Hood Funeral Home, LLC began. As owner/manager of the newly named Hood Funeral Home and as Funeral Director/Embalmer for so many years in the area, I truly understand the decisions that a family must make during the time of loss. That is why I, and the entire staff of Hood Funeral Home, are committed to providing your family with unsurpassed service in a caring environment.
Hood Monument Service is also ready to help you with any of your monument needs. We have a large selection of Granite or Bronze Markers available. We consider it a privilege to serve your family in a time of need. All of our families will receive only the best service and care, regardless of their financial situation.
Our facility is both warm and comforting with a well lit parking lot and covered drive through entrance so families will not be caught in inclement weather.
