The Hood Commitment
"CARING IS OUR PROFESSION"
I am very proud to have served the families of Cumberland and surrounding counties for more than 25 years. I graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1973 and graduated from Kentucky School of Mortuary Science in 1976. I started and remained for the most part of my career in funeral service with Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville.
In September of 2001 having the opportunity to purchase the former Burris Funeral Home, Hood Funeral Home, LLC began. As owner/manager of the newly named Hood Funeral Home and as Funeral Director/Embalmer for so many years in the area, I understand the decisions that a family must make during a time of loss. That's why I and the entire staff of Hood Funeral Home are committed to providing your family with unsurpassed service in a caring environment.
Hood Monument Service is also ready to help you with any of your monument needs. We have a large selection of Granite or Bronze Markers available.
We consider it a privilege to serve your family in a time of need. Having experienced death in my own family, I know exactly how you feel in a time of loss. I invite you to talk to any of the families that we have served in the past about our services. All of our families will receive only the best service and care, regardless of their financial situation. Our facility is both warm and comforting, and has a covered drive through entrance so families will not be caught in inclement weather, and a well lit parking lot.
Again, we consider it a privilege for you to contact us at any time if we may be of service to you or your family, or if you have any questions. Please contact us at 931.484.8437 and you will learn as many other families have why we truly say:
