I am very proud to have served the families of Cumberland and surrounding counties for more than 25 years. I graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1973 and graduated from Kentucky School of Mortuary Science in 1976. I started and remained for the most part of my career in funeral service with Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville.

In September of 2001 having the opportunity to purchase the former Burris Funeral Home, Hood Funeral Home, LLC began. As owner/manager of the newly named Hood Funeral Home and as Funeral Director/Embalmer for so many years in the area, I understand the decisions that a family must make during a time of loss.
